I stumbled across Climate Designers last summer while searching to see if there was such a thing as a "climate designer." I was pleasantly surprised to find a wonderful and welcoming community of designers of all kinds working together to motivate other designers to put climate at the core of their work. I applied to volunteer on the Social Media Design Team and so began my journey of fully engaging in climate, and embracing the title of a Climate Designer.
Above are some concepts I designed for Project Blue Sky. Project Blue Sky is a unique two-week workshop for designers from all walks of life hosted by Climate Designers at least twice a year in the Cuyama Valley of California that aims to create climate-positive work. Although they went unused, these are some of the many concepts that we considered using to promote the event on Instagram.
