Root Policy Research is a community planning and housing research firm that provides custom, creative, and high-value analysis and strategy for their clients. I was asked to create a series of simple, hand-drawn illustrations for a set of four boards they'd be taking out into different communities for brainstorming sessions. After the initial client meeting, I started with a mood board to help establish the look and feel of the project, then began sketching.
The project resulted in light-hearted, colorful illustrations relating to the different community themes of each board. Below is the progress of the project, from start to finish.
